Health and fitness have been central to my life, beginning with roles at London's Triyoga and The Third Space. After developing neck pain and fatigue, I discovered relief through Pilates, leading me to train as a Pilates instructor. As I continue to benefit from Pilates, I am passionate about sharing its transformative power with others, helping them achieve similar improvements in their health and resilience.

"Pilates has transcended mere exercise, becoming crucial for managing my physical and mental wellbeing, helping me cope with stress, and maintaining strength."

Alice Perry

I have a passion for helping others build strength, flexibility, and mind-body awareness. I

fell in love with the practice and how it makes my body feel (my first reformer class was

at Move Room!) trained in the classical style I love to add a contemporary element to my

classes.

The power of movement to improve posture, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-

being motivates me. regardless of your level of experience I want to guide you towards

your fitness goals with clear instruction and personalised support.

Alyce Bartle

I am classical mat Pilates teacher, who is passionate about movement in any shape.

I love that mat Pilates can meet you wherever you’re at and her classes are challenging, focusing on building skills and full body integration so you leave feeling energised, aligned and calm.

My focus is on finding the mind/body connection so the hour will pass rapidly and you’ll realise you haven’t thought of anything else all class.

I went to my first class in 2013 after I was recommended by a friend, and I completely fell in love with the method.

The feeling of being connected, lengthened and strong along with a deep curiosity about my body and the mind-body connection is what kept me coming back. In 2018 I did the training for a deeper understanding of the method originally- the fact that I love teaching was a happy accident!

For the hour they’re with me, I want people to feel “in” their bodies and not in their heads. I aim for my teaching style to be clear, visceral and easy to follow. I want people to also feel strong, lengthened and connected in/to their bodies.

Hayley Graham

Pilates helps me to connect my mind and body and is something I have come back to (on and oI) for over 25 years, seeing me through challenging times, including periods of injury.

Pilates makes me feel amazing and in 2022 I decided to retrain as an instructor with The Pilates Foundation, to pass this feeling on! My classes are a combination of classical exercises with contemporary adaptations and I love teaching all apparatus – short and long spine on the Reformer are some of my favourites.

I want clients to feel at ease, leave the studio with a sense of achievement and most importantly – have fun!

Shadia Maali

Prior to finding Pilates, I was passionate about all forms of movement – from running to spin class – it has consistently been part of my life. I started Pilates after having my first baby and started to feel the best I’d felt without pushing myself to the limit.

It was a brand new way to move and I loved the sense of calm that came with it. This is why I decided to train as an instructor at the London Pilates Academy (and with a lot of support and guidance from Move Room) to pass on this amazing feeling to others. Combining exercise with work is a dream for me.

I want my clients to experience both the physical and mental benefits of Pilates and to enjoy the escapism that an hour at the studio brings. Mat work is my personal fave – an accessible piece of equipment to get anyone started on their Pilates journey!
